Rankin Inlet Flu Shot Clinic dates 2020

Protect yourself, your family and your community from the flu by getting vaccinated.

A Walk-in Flu Shot Clinic will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m at the Drop-in Centre. You will not need to book an appointment to attend this clinic.

If you are unable to attend the walk-in clinic, appointments can be made at Rankin Inlet Public Health and the Wellness Centre. Appointments will be necessary to receive the flu shot at these locations and will be available during the following times:

  • Every Thursday during the month of November from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
  • Friday afternoons for scheduled home visits for Elders and those who are immunocompromised.

To book an appointment to get a free flu shot, please call 867-645-8070. The Wellness Centre is located next door to the Hamlet, across from the Siniktarvik Hotel in Rankin Inlet. Also, the following businesses, workplaces and schools have scheduled their own private flu clinics:

Wednesday October 28  Maani Ulujuk Iliniavik High School 10 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
Thursday October 29 Simon Alaittuq Middle School 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Friday, October 30 Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated 9 – 10:30 a.m.
  Kivalliq Health Centre 1 – 4 p.m.

If your business is not listed, please contact Rankin Inlet Public Health to schedule a flu clinic.

Social distancing, hand hygiene and enhanced cleaning practices will be in place to help keep everyone healthy.
