Reminder: Community consultation for cannabis store in Iqaluit
The Government of Nunavut reminds Iqalummiut that May 25, 2022 is the last day to submit feedback regarding the cannabis store application in Iqaluit.
The application is for an Enclosed Cannabis Store from Higher Experience Inc. The proposed location is 760 Queen Elizabeth II Way and the proposed hours would be
11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day except Tuesdays and holidays.
An Enclosed Cannabis Store is a place where cannabis is sold and is not accessible by the general public. Only adults over the age of 19 are allowed inside and there are walls and a door to guard against access from minors.
Iqalummiut can send their comments, concerns and views about this cannabis store to @email or call the Department of Finance at 867-975-6821.
