Seeking foster parents in Kivalliq Region and Sanikiluaq

The Department of Family Services is looking for individuals or families who are interested in becoming foster parents in Arviat, Baker Lake, Chesterfield Inlet, Coral Harbour, Naujaat, Rankin Inlet and Sanikiluaq, and who are open to accepting short-term, long-term, and emergency placements.

If you can provide a safe, supportive, and loving environment for children until they can be reunited with their family, we encourage you to consider this meaningful opportunity.

To apply, we invite you to:

  • Complete all the forms in the application package.
  • Provide three community references.
  • Submit a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check for all adults over the age of 19 in the applying household.
