Update to community consultations on family laws in Nunavut

Previously planned community consultations on the Family Abuse Intervention Act (FAIA) and Nunavut’s family laws are being postponed in Cambridge Bay and Gjoa Haven. These sessions will be rescheduled to a later date to be determined.

Community consultations are still moving forward for the following communities:

  • Pond Inlet, Tuesday, August 31 at 3 - 7 p.m.
  • Iqaluit, September 9 and 10. Time is yet to be determined.
  • Sanirajak, Tuesday September 14 at 3 - 7 p.m.
  • Igloolik, Wednesday September 15 at 3 - 7 p.m.
