Waste Reduction Week Challenge

The Department of Environment is challenging Nunavummiut to participate in Waste Reduction Week from October 21 to 27.

Care for the land, animals and environment or Avatimik Kamattiarniq, is part of our Inuit Societal Values. We can all be environmental stewards by practicing the 5R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle and Repurpose.

Participate by taking pictures of your waste reduction efforts and posting them to the GN Facebook or Twitter accounts using the hashtags #WasteReductionWeekNU and #WasteReductionWeek.
