Property taxes due on November 30

The Department of Finance reminds property owners outside Iqaluit that property taxes were due on November 30, 2020.

Tax notices were sent out on September 30, 2020. If you have not received your tax notice, please email @email or call toll-free 1-800-316-3324.

The Government of Nunavut understands that the COVID-19 pandemic may have brought financial hardship to some property owners. We want to support Nunavummiut during this difficult time by encouraging flexible payment options.

If you are unable to pay the arrears in full, please contact our office by December 18, 2020 to arrange an installment plan.

We also encourage you to make payments online through your financial institution. This method is the fastest way to process your account and helps maintain physical distancing.
